poo poo poo poo lucy's tired

today we went to 2 locations to do childrens ministry. we sang songs with the kids, told the story of the golden calf, and made God's eyes. we also handed out the prayer bears to the kids, they loved them. one of the locations was called santa lucia and was an active dump, the people made their living by retreiving items from the trash and trying to sell them or make things out of them. this evening we went to the banquet for the Claude Lemaster basketball tournament, we got to meet the teams and join them in a meal. tomorrow we are going to church at the local church and then going to the beach.

Reading about this takes me back to Honduras, and the dump that we toured, and the children that we saw. It's so very heartbreaking, and hard to imagine until you actually experience it. God Bless you all in this undertaking. I know that he is at work through all of you, in ways that you never imagined. I look forward to your safe return, and hearing the stories that you have to tell. Your answer to the call God placed on your lives says so much about not only who you are, but whose you are. Save travels.

Hi all,
I finally got the blog address at church today and have been thinking about and praying for all of you all week and wishing I was there. Loved the pictures and can't believe how far along the church and feeding center are. Also loved the picture of Bienvo and family. What a precious family. We saw Jack at church today with Uncle Rob and Aunt Allison and he seemed to be doing great, all smiles.

Pastor Dan's sermon was on Jesus telling us to "feed his sheep" and that is what you all are doing. God bless each of you and we'll pray for traveling mercies! Looking forward to hearing all about your week.
