We wish to thank our church family for all their support, prayers and love they have given us as we prepare to go to the Dominican this week. This Easter weekend the 35 members of the 2013 DR team are finalizing their packing and preparations for the DR mission trip. We are thankful for the opportunity and thankful for the support of our church family. We will be taking over 200 pounds of medicine that was
donated by St. John members to the DR medical clinc that members of our team will host. We are taking over 15,000 vitamin pills to help them be healthier. We are taking about 80 pounds of Vacation Bible School supplies
donated by our church family to host VBS in 2 feeding centers. We will be teaching the
fishers of men story and making fish out of CD's so the children can hang them at their homes. We will be doing construction work and serving lunch at 2 feeding centers.
We are blessed to be HIS hands and feet this week. We ask you to continue to pray for safe travel, to stay healthy, and
above all else to be humble while doing HIS work.
We are there to serve HIM while serving them, but we will come home feeling we received much more than we gave. We will be blessed by the love we receive from the Dominican community.
