Peter's Pals (all 27 of them...) are officially headed south to the Dominican Republic! Their flight left Louisville today at 1:10 p.m., 5 minutes ahead of schedule. After a layover in Miami, they are scheduled to land in Santiago, DR at 8:45 p.m tonight. After checking their numerous bags and securing their boarding passes, they gathered to pray for travel mercies, wisdom, and guidance as they spend the week serving as the hands and feet of God. Please continue to pray for each of them as they faithfully throw both feet over the boat and leap into the waters of serving our Lord. Check back for updates....they hope to have them for us all week.
**Update: Praise God for answered prayer - the crew arrived in one piece! I spoke with Will around 10:00 p.m. and they were loading the vans with the group and all their bags. No issues with immigration, customs, etc. so the transport of goodies was successful. Not wasting any time, they'll be up bright and early in the morning to begin their physical work of pouring concrete as well as their spiritual work of worship/fellowship with the Dominican nationals.

I am so jealous of everyone even though I know the Bible says not to be! I pray for a blessed week through the remainder of your time there. Enjoy the time with your brothersand sisters there in the D.R. and our time with our Lord - He is RISEN!!
