As the group that will make up D.R. Trip #2 solidifies, I thought it was time to resurrect the blog.
This group will be traveling to the D.R. this spring as part of a medical mission.
Please keep the traveling group in your prayers as they prepare, but also keep the "silent" supporters as well. Having been on D.R. Trip #1, you don't realize how much work goes into it. And a lot of that work coming from behind the scenes.

It is the day before we leave and it is all I can do to keep my attention on my work so I can go home, pack, sleep and get to the church to begin our mission trip. I am so excited to be returning to the DR and potentially, the same site we worked on last year.
We appreciate all the prayers and financial support extended to this team by our church family. This is truely a St. John Mission Team and I am encouraged and amazed by the work God has already accomplished and the work he is still working on us to complete.
We all hope to keep in touch through this blog while we are working, please do the same.
